With a vision to enhance the safety culture, compliance and effectiveness of the industry’s existing outdated onboarding systems, we were invited to become a key strategic partner in bringing this vision to life.
The Background
SiteApprove’s vision stems from a strong background in safety and compliance with a deep understanding of how organisations operate within the mining space. The team saw an opportunity to improve existing safety onboarding processes with the use of technology so they reached out to us for help. The aim was to improve efficiency and decrease human error in managing critical and sensitive documents. Being a highly regulated industry, achieving these goals was paramount to the success of the company.
The Brief
Build a user-friendly platform where users can easily manage their personal or company certifications.
Incorporate the function to share profiles and certifications between mine operators and contractors.
Our Solution
WebApp platform for companies and individual users to manage their certificates and onboarding documents.

Rolling out the solution

Conduct qualitative user research in the form of interviews, observations and analysis of existing data.
In-depth competitor analysis of other platforms and devise a strategy for the design phase. -
Begin wireframing and digitising workflows to visualise where efficiencies can be gained.
Develop MVP and carry out initial beta testing with subset of customers.
Launch version 1 of the app and continue working with key stakeholders to obtain feedback.

Revise workflows and redevelop key functions and features in the app.
